About Me
As a self-taught artist from Watford, I find joy in exploring different media, but my real passion lies in working with polymer clay. I specialize in creating intricate bas-relief models, which I bring to life with acrylic paints, inks, and sometimes gilding with metallic foil. My signature fish artworks are encased in Pebeo Crystal Resin, giving them a stunning, water-like effect.
I also craft unique ‘coin’ portraits, designed to mimic the look of solid metal, offering a distinct and imaginative approach to portraiture. While these techniques are time-intensive, I find great fulfillment in the process. Additionally, I love working with watercolors, colored pencils, and ink pens, and continue to create cartoons inspired by my previous professional life.
As a member of the Watford & Bushey Art Society and a Friend of the Guild of Aviation Artists, my lifelong fascination with aircraft also informs my work.
Feel free to contact me if you’re interested in purchasing any of my pieces or discussing a commission—I’d love to create something special for you!
